I live in a high rise apartment in Brisbane, Australia. Awesome views of the river and the surrounding suburbs. Also good for when we get fireworks...

that's an incredible view especially at night, though i'm terrified of heights and i wouldn't be able to live in an apartment that high.

I am up in a mountain valley, surrounded by trees, so the view is mostly blocked when they are leafed out. Right now the leaves have turned and mostly dropped, had a frost Monday night, but the annuals and some perennials are still in bloom. There is some new snow on the mountain tops, but the trees on the slopes still have their bright colors.

Both pics are looking the same direction, from the northeast side looking east. The first is from up on the deck this summer, the second down on the lawn a previous year.

Have a couple other places with more magnificent views, land up on a mountain nearby, and my family place on Cape Chiniak on Kodiak Island, it is up on a cliff over the ocean with 360" views.

the first pic makes me dreamy. i love when there's a nice view that's open and you can see for miles.

I couldnt get a picture of my surroundings. Pretty much concrete block all around, except for the two ends of the neighboring buildings...

Here's an addition I found to add to my Dee-Luxx modular I built.

It's the hottest trend in Michigan lately. Very cost effective.

Here's the addition going on this week!

I live at the base of Mt. Sugarloaf in Western Massachusetts...

I found more pics of my mountain and the surrounding area. You can almost see my apartment building in this first pic. The attached image has a red arrow showing the approximate location of my building.

I drive over this bridge every day.

Here's an old pic of the mountain from on the bridge.

Here's a pic of a double rainbow from the top of the mountain, looking over the Connecticut River at the town of Sunderland.

Another pic of Sunderland from the top of the mountain, at the beginning of the fall foliage season.

Here's a night view. The lights in the upper right are the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
