Someone was praising Queen intensely in another sub-forum earlier today, and it got me thinking about Townes Van Zandt for some reason, so i decided to watch Heartworn Highway once again, and there's this scene where Townes Van Zandt plays Waitin' Around to Die for his girlfriend and an old black man. I had completely forgotten this scene, I don't know how in earth i was able to forget it. I'm not usually one to cry easily, but when I first saw this scene, I simply couldn't stop the tears from falling. I still get a heavy lump in my throat every time.
So I thought I would start a thread where people can share similar feelings for something in particular. It can be either a good breaking of the heart or a bad one. I don't really know into which of these categories this short clip fits, but please watch it, the whole thing is just heart-wrenchingly beautiful and sad:
