- attraktive actors, natural acting
- intense & persistent fucking
- sensitive camera work
- subtle editing
- live sound or decent, moody synchro


...it's sad but true that over 95 % of all the gayporn releases from different studios over the past 40 years have major flaws.


Even well filmed and carefully edited movies of gifted directors like
George Duroy & Alex Stevens from Belami are sometimes spoiled by
bugging, stereotype and overdone moaners & groaners.


Other directors, producers & and studios like Falcon, Hammer, Eboys, Staxus, Vimpex, Clair, Jet Set, Dolphin, Absolute XXX, Eurocreme England, Man's Art and many more often failed because of heavy editing and uptight camera work: instead of longer takes while capturing the penetration act plus the faces and the feelings of the bottoms - every few seconds the position of the camera is hectically shifted, zooming far too much on anonymous asses and other parts of the body alone.


Asking me which studios/directors are doing in general a halfway satisfying
job: my vote goes for Belami (with the retrenchments regarding sometimes the sound), Robert Boggs/Ayor, Keith Miller/Helix & Brady Mayo/High Drive.


And if you ask me which porn producer & director came up to this day the closest to perfection:
