Do most women make noise or say words during or after sex?

My wife’s breathing changes as she becomes aroused, so I know she’s enjoying it. Then, when she reaches orgasm, there will be a slight sigh.

I will often say, “Thanks for the amazing sex.” Or, “That was wonderful.”

She says nothing.

What is the norm?

I'm usually more responsive to something the other party says. I usually don't initiate the talking because I'm sorta self conscious that way but if he/she starts it I am definitely in.

I do have this weird thing where I start laughing hysterically when I have a really good orgasm. Which has given the poor guy a complex til I tell him I'm not laughing at him and it is actually a great thing if I start laughing.

Yeahhhh that’s definitely something that warrants explanation lol. Guy feeling like King Kong then BAM! it’s Comedy Central lmao. That scene must be hilarious

During sex it is the only time my wife will become totally uninhibited. She never swears normally, either publicly or privately, but when we fuck she uses them all and with great meaning. It's a big turn on hearing her verbalize.

There is no "'norm" and trying to qualify this is fruitless. Trust me on this one, I've been with enough women to know they come quiet to mad-crazy-loud. The only sure-fire way you can do is to tell her how much you enjoy being inside her and ask her if she feels the same while pumping away. Most women, even the shyest ones, will more than likely give you a "yes" and then close their eyes and go quiet. The breathing is always a dead-giveaway if you're close enough to hear/see/feel it.

Beyond that, just go with the flow. When I was younger, a quiet woman was a total turn-off for me but I've matured and learn that "just because she's quiet doesn't mean she's not totally into it".

well, the most recent thing this really hot chick said to me after I fucked her on holiday last month was she loved how dick was slightly curved cause it feels good cause its a good thickness too

i personally dont like that its curved but I do seem to get comments when I fuck that it feels better cause it rubs their pussy

Most sex talk in porn is unbelievably fake.

In my experience few words are spoken during sex. Gasps, moans, whimpers, squeals, oohs & ahhs or their equivalents, sure. Oh gods. Oh fucks. Occasional expletives. It's like the speech center is hijacked by passion.

There are chatterboxes who go on during sex but even that tends to stop with or close to orgasm.

Depends on the individual. And whether they are present or thinking or concerned about something else.

I would love for my wife to make a little noise of satisfaction, but always has said through the years, that she wouldn't change a thing. Even though I'm 72 yrs old, and enjoy sex as much as ever, a little noise would heighten my climax perhaps. I don't know because it's never happened.

As everyone else has said, there is no norm. Your wife is your wife, every woman is different, and even the same woman can be different in her responses and vocalizations depending on what is going on, what she's feeling at that moment, etc.

I had a past girlfriend who would moan while being stimulated, but when quiet when she had explosive orgasms. My wife is generally quiet during sex, but very vocal when she orgasms.

My wife doesn't say much during sex other than "faster", "harder", "right there", and an occasional "oh, fuck". Generally, she's silent but she does moan and when she orgasms, her moans get really loud. That's such a turn-on for me.

Mmmm. That’s wonderful. Such a turn on for a guy to know he’s pleasing his woman sexually. I never get any of what you describe though I can tell from her breathing and sigh when she orgasms that she enjoyed it. She’s 67 years old, but it was the same quiet response for decades. My wife is a very quiet person.

Ya think, I find porn to he humorous in that sense among other things.

Yep, one of my exes would cry. At first I was a bit dismayed.

I think the answer is like several others here have already stated, in that it depends on the woman.
I also think that even with the same person, it also varies from session to session as well as changing throughout one's relationship.

Early on in our marriage, my wife was much more vocal and louder. She was also much more into nasty talk and profanity. In fact, when having sex was one of the few times she would curse and being such a rare event, turned me on greatly. There were times her self-consciousness went entirely out the window and I'd actually have to chide her to tone it down as I was concerned someone else would hear.

Nowadays, she has done an almost 180, which is ironic since we no longer have to worry about others in the house or close-by neighbors like when we lived in apartments. Most of the time, she is fairly quiet with only soft moans or heavy breathing which I've learned to read to know when she is either close to coming or in the process of. While she does curse a lot more, but unfortunately it is when she is mad or upset and not during sex...LOL, so I kind of miss that sort of taboo-for-her occurrence :(.

Strangely enough, while she has become much quieter with me over the years, she was still louder with other men when we were swinging and I could usually hear her even in the next room .

These changes don't bother me too much as while I sometimes do wish she would act more like she's enjoying herself (even though I know she is), but on the other hand we've become so adept in each other's responses, performance art just for the sake of it is no longer a necessity.

During- is it in me?
After- was that it?

That was very interesting. Thanks for taking the time to write. My wife's personality is very quiet. She considers unnecessary words a waste of time. Her parents were the same way, so I know she will never change. I have learned to enjoy listening to her breathing which is very evident when she is aroused. It heightens my climax and ejaculation if she were to speak during sex. Sometimes she will say it feels good, which is very helpful to me. She has said that the sex is good, and that I don't need to change anything. I'm grateful to be able to have sex successfully at 73 years old this month. The drive is as high as ever. Thanks again.

My wife gets very loud when she is close.... She says fuck me hard and I do. She is 5'2 and I am 6'9 and I can really give it to her.... We have a great time. She also talks nasty to me when I fuck her. She asks me if I enjoy seeing all the cock in the porn flicks we watch. She always knew I liked them so she uses it to her advantage. I get so hard when she talks like that and we both enjoy the affect on me.
