"RAND Corporation (Research ANd Development) is a nonprofit global policy think tank ... aims for interdisciplinary and quantitative problem solving via translating theoretical concepts... To date, 32 recipients of the Nobel Prize, primarily in the fields of economics and physics, have been involved or associated with RAND at some point in theircareer." (wikipedia)

Rand is commissioned to put that analysis out. Where is the analysis so that we can all evaluate it? The premise of the analysis seems to be ridiculous. There were other plans better than Obama's and the analysis acknowledged that.

Well, let's see who sued:

All Republicans except one state (with a Republican governor)? Well there's a surprise. BTW, the basis of the suits seem to be a question over whether "requiring citizens to buy goods and services" is constitutional, an issue I personally don't understand, since it can be argued that citizens earning a certain income are required to pay taxes (for the "goods and services" we receive from our goverment).

Actually the burden placed on states by Obama's legislation under Medicaid is unsustainable and is a major part of the lawsuits.

States are also suing the federal government because the national health care law will not only add at least 15 million more low-income people to the Medicaid program, but will cost the states millions more to administer the new program and insureds.

Democrats see the same major problems with Obama's mess of healthcare legislation but refuse to buck Obama or the Dem Party to serve the interest of their citizens and the American People:

Even though the state of California will be hit hardest of any of the 50 states by the mandates in the new law, California probably won't
be joining in the legal actions being undertaken by the other states.

Take a wild guess why. California attorney general Jerry Brown is a Democrat, who is also running for California governor. In Brown's brain, all this lawsuit stuff has nothing do with the fact that states can't possibly afford national health care mandates, it's just Republicans being petty.

"We'll just have to see how it goes, but I do think that the politics of this have really been horrible," Brown said during a visit to KCRA 3. "This is a big issue. It's complicated. The bill is obviously not perfect. But I would like to see both parties trying to fix it. And let the Republicans say, 'OK, we have some other ideas here.' Basically, it just obstructionism, and it's dividing our country when we really need at this point in our history to pull together and forge a common purpose."

Let me get this straight...Obama and the Democrats go against the American People evidenced in polls before the passage of Healthcare reform and since to ram a mess of bills down the throats of the American people that won't do anything it was intended to do and the elected officials that told Obama face to face that it wouldn't work are obstructionist because they refuse to go along with madness? Ridiculous.

Jerry Brown freely admits Obama's bill won't work and will hurt California but actually assert that Republicans are supposed to say "that's okay...we won't say ObamaCare doesn't work...we'll just pass a completely different bill that works and say we merely fixed your legislation called ObamaCare so you can take credit for passing healthcare reform that actually will work and won't bankrupt America. Right! LOL

Jon Stewart took it upon himself to call out Obama...so you are upset over his vitriol. You guys are fine when Stewart takes Republicans to task but can't take it when its over your Obama.

Did I sound upset. I thought I suggested that I was in agreement with him, in part, but not for the reasons you interpret. I suggested Stewart's routine evidenced frustration from Obama supporters for catering too much to the "right". Hence his final line in his routine, "letting the ASS kick you."

You posted no rebuttal of consequence to anything. You posted a thread supposedly in defense of Obama's healthcare and provided no specifics or a link to the supposed analysis. Not to mention - the Rand Corp is Federally funded and commissioned by Obama's administration to put that crap out there.

I posted an article from USA Today. The article summarizes the RAND Corp. findings. Are you suggesting the writer was biased? Misrepresented the RAND Corp.?

YOu speak of ASSumptions. Do you have proof the RAND Corp. published a bogus or at lease a distorted analysis at the request of Obama??

Obama isn't enlisting Anita Dunn for nothing...putting out Rand Corp analysis and making speeches to Seniors about $250.

Again, where is YOUR proof?? He called her up? Asked her to get the RAND Corp. to publish a bogus analysis of the healthcare reform initiative??

Rand is commissioned to put that analysis out. Where is the analysis so that we can all evaluate it? The premise of the analysis seems to be ridiculous. There were other plans better than Obama's and the analysis acknowledged that.

What plans?? The plans you say no one is is obliged to come up with??

Let me get this straight...Obama and the Democrats go against the American People evidenced in polls before the passage of Healthcare reform and since to ram a mess of bills down the throats of the American people that won't do anything it was intended to do and the elected officials that told Obama face to face that it wouldn't work are obstructionist because they refuse to go along with madness? Ridiculous.

What do you suggest they should've done? Table the bill? Wait a little while longer? Debate the issue for another year? two?? ten?? Meanwhile, how many men, women, moms, children would've had to wait for how long for healthcare coverage?

Jerry Brown freely admits Obama's bill won't work and will hurt California but actually assert that Republicans are supposed to say "that's okay...we won't say ObamaCare doesn't work...we'll just pass a completely different bill that works and say we merely fixed your legislation called ObamaCare so you can take credit for passing healthcare reform that actually will work and won't bankrupt America. Right! LOL

IF THEY CAN COME UP WITH A BETTER PLAN, AND DO - FANTASTIC!!!

AS LONG AS AMERICAN CITIZENS GET THE AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE COVERAGE THEY NEED AND DESERVE AS AMERICANS, WHAT THE FUCK DO WE CARE WHO COMES UP WITH A BETTER PLAN, OR WHO GETS THE CREDIT FOR IT??????????

i'm just telling it lokre it is your the one screwing around on lpsg on a saturday night that speaks for itself. if you can beat taking care of 2 lovely ladies on your boat while watching the sunset give me a call. and that was just the start of the evening.

I'll run circles around you rubberman. I'm the kind of guy that can't evade attention. I can't tell you how many engaged women come hang all over me then go get their fiancee who watching it all to come over to meet me. how embarrising for them, but thats what happens when you have personality, good looks and 20 inch guns. Three things you'll never have.

I thought you were a dj anyway you should be out working but with such a dipshit name as vynlboy a Iguess it's hard to get work.

Oooh! You demand attention and you have 20 inch guns. YAWN!

Also if you haven't noticed, Einstein, I'm gay. The way I take care of ladies is far more respectable than you could ever fathom. Besides, your mom, sisters, cousins, aunts and grandmother don't count. Please tell me you're not so desperate to insult someone that you're trying to compare you so-called beauty to mine? I find it absolutely hysterical that a straight man of your hyped demeanor has adapted some kind of obsession as to how I look.

I don't need to judge you by your outside appearances. Your insides are all the ugly I need to be aware of. You need the muscles to make up for your massive lack of intellect. And BTW, no you can't suck my dick.

Now, either try (and I do mean TRY) to engage me on the subject matter of this thread or kindly STFU.

That's you. CNN and many other news outlets are discussing Obama's lack of leadership and the fact that his inexperience is showing. The ass kicking Obama is his incompetence.

I posted an article from USA Today. The article summarizes the RAND Corp. findings. Are you suggesting the writer was biased? Misrepresented the RAND Corp.?

You failed to provide a link to the analysis so that people can evaluate the analysis for themselves. The summary in the article presented a ridiculous premise and an inaccurate title for the article as the analysis clearly states the opposite of what the article attempts to present.

You speak of ASSumptions. Do you have proof the RAND Corp. published a bogus or at lease a distorted analysis at the request of Obama??
Did you present the analysis by the Rand Corp which is federally funded and commissioned by the Obama administration to put out that analysis for people to actually evaluate or did you just post an article talking about an analysis like the title of the article (which was distorted) was fact?

What plans?? The plans you say no one is is obliged to come up with??
The same plans Obama acknowledged in the Healthcare summit with the Republicans.

What do you suggest they should've done?
Obama and the Dems purposefully used accounting gimmicks and played politics to force a bad bill through. What should they have done? Obama should have passed a bill that actually worked. He failed to do that.

Table the bill? Wait a little while longer? Debate the issue for another year? two?? ten?? Meanwhile, how many men, women, moms, children
would've had to wait for how long for healthcare coverage?

States are on the verge of Bankruptcy and the burden of Medicaid from Obama's mess of healthcare reform could cause a collapse. Read this slowly until you get it...The additional people covered won't have healthcare coverage and people currently covered won't have quality care with the wrong legislation:

In states facing budget gaps, the consequences are severe in many cases — for residents as well as the economy. As the 2009 fiscal year ended and states planned for 2010, budget difficulties have led at least 45 states to reduce services to their residents, including some of their most vulnerable families and individuals.[1] Over 30 states have raised taxes to at least some degree, in some cases quite significantly.
If revenue declines persist as expected in many states, additional spending and service cuts are likely.

Obama and the Dems were told and warned and refused to listen on their mess of healthcare reform. Now their bill will be revealed for the crap it is and how it could hurt not only healthcare but the economy.

If Obama and the Dems only care that Americans Citizens get quality affordable healthcare, they will freely admit their errors and work to dismantle the mess they created.
