I just saw this on the 6:00 news out of New York.
Once she found out he was okay; his mother seemed quite calm, and said that he just lacked a positive male role model.
My great aunt Joan (God rest her soul) had a phrase that is perfect for this child. "Go cut me a switch! That's right! You better run 'cause I'm gonna beat the black off your narrow behind!"
I, having been the perfect child, never got beat by her...but my mouthy cousin Gigi did...a lot. My nana once hit Gigi so hard with a switch I cried for her. Honest, I swear to God and Prada it's true.
