True, but you know how some of the members here are into the meaning behind the userid ? Reading that part made me draw a parallel. Then there's always the thread for "Photo or Video Verification Requests" ?

I find it very curious that in the article it states that they found no evidence of "inappropriate images" and three words later they say that there was explicit photographs.

So what was it?

To me if there was no "inappropriate images" then what's the fuss about?

Inappropriate, guess they mean child porn or something more damning than just trying to hook up/date the clientelle of AFF ? Perhaps meaning he didn't upload or download pics of members or himself. All they had was the fact someone logged in using his State Govt. issued userid for the computer, had used Internet Explorer and "logged in" to the website based on cookies or other files using the cubanciger107 userid ? Perhaps even cookies or other files that may have even had to be restored using a forensic program. That's what employers do (especially Governement employers), who knows where and what database this information is stored on and how it's used against people down the road. We are a society that gathers dirt and depending upon another's motive, careers are ruined and so on. It's all in how the information is gathered and portrayed. If the lawmakers dismissal was for inappropriate use of government equipment, this helps in any lawsuits. And this is the most damning kind of misuse. It's one thing to get an email from your wife or children asking you to stop and pick up a gallon of milk, yet another to spend your eveings in a hotel, seeking a companion for whatever purposes. Some people never learn, company property don't use it for personal things. Anything that goes thru the email servers for work, that becomes company/government property. If you're going to send emails like that, make sure you are in a group that involves higher ups, that way you have some leverage too, you can take down just as many as they can make you look foolish.

More puritan persecution of anything sexual.

Jeez when will the people of this country get over the fact that men get horny?

If we can have commercials about women's period during the dinner hour and no one thinks twice about it...
If we can have commercials matter of factly dealing with the problem of toilet paper shreds getting stuck to your asshole...

Then Who fucking cares about an adult intern blowing the president? Who the fuck cares that a guy has porn on his computer?

You know what would amaze me?
A guy who has ZERO porn on his computer...

Yes, as they quite likely frequent that and similar sites too. Of course they had the privilege of viewing the same 350+ sexual images with impunity that Barreiro was punished for viewing. I can imagine that those persons assigned this investigative task made sure that they loosed their trousers, applied oil to themselves and made a thorough job of it. Ironically that would be the perfect job for Barreiro to do.
