Monstro, you were supposed to come to Europe travelling by Concorde... misfortunately "Good bye Concorde" is all one can say now ! The (first) last one made a farewell tour in United Kingdom, the (second) last one was the star of photo-shooting in Paris. Adieu, Concorde ! Oh, damn... Concorde was the sexiest aircraft ever, a supernatural phenomenon, you would have arrived from London/Paris to New York sooner than you departed ; or... to quote my grandmother : « at every flight you'll invariably encounter two heirs of Greek tycoons' fortunes, a former UN Secretary-General, two Russian billionaire gangsters, a pop star, two rival Swiss bankers, a Japanese CEO, one golf player or two, and certainly a fashion top-model who is always the last to come on board. » ... Paris/London - New York in 2h33min., that's astounding, fabulous, almost incredible. (7-9 hours by usual planes, 5-7 days by transatlantic cruisers 50 years ago, 30 days - huh ? a month ! - by ship 200 years ago...) Saying good-bye to Concorde is the first time aviation takes a step back... ~ weeping ~ « Human progress implicitly. » PS - I'll find a new aircraft for you... an AXX300 Airbus with bar, sauna and casino - would that do fine ;D ?
