There's a 90 km stretch from Nogales heading north in Arizona that is signed in kilometers. It was done when the USA was going to change. It was deemed too expensive to re-do the signage.

Years ago in school we were taught the metric system and were also told the U.S. would one day change over. I like the Imperial system better only because it’s what’s familiar. Note: Didn’t know it was called ‘Imperial’, had to look it up.
