Some of the most interesting people now in my life I've encountered on this site.
I like the range of the place -- the cockology summits, the jokes, the confessions, the serious threads where I learn surprising things about all sorts of subjects, the frivolous threads that amuse and help pass the time.
I even like witnessing many of the skirmishes.
There are lots of intelligent people here.
LPSG is a good slice of life ... but in a form that I can hold up close or at arm's length. Or ignore if I want, for days.
And it's cheap.
