Thisvid account lost

I posted a video on thisvid.com yesterday and I cannot login to my account today. I tried using 'forgot password' option and it says my email isn't even registered.

I wonder if they deleted my account because of my upload

if the account is actually deleted i wish they would at least notify me or tell me as i try to log in

I think mine just got deleted and I'm absolutely devastated. My favorites list was extensive and I had so many friends with incredible private videos. I'm in the same boat where I was uploading a bunch of content for the first time in a while, and suddenly I got logged out. I couldn't log back in, and my profile was nowhere to be found. Fuuuck I had YEARS of things saved that I'll never get back. And friends I probably won't be able to find again.

What I find so frustrating about that website is that so many users "private" their videos and are super stingy when it comes to adding people, especially profiles with less content. I would try to upload content I had found every once in a while to better my chances of people adding me back. It feels like it's literally impossible to tell what sort of content might get flagged or cause deletion. I felt like the content I was posting wasn't any more "stolen" than most of the videos on there. I just don't get it.

What I don't understand is how they're just gonna delete an account with no explanation and no warning. I'm thinking it might be because I included a full name of a porn actor??? I really don't know.

I just contacted them, but I'm not very hopeful. In their FAQ they claim retrieval of deleted accounts is impossible.

No they won't notify you. I'm sure mine got deleted without notice.

This has happened to me twice before. More than likely your account was banned and deleted. This can happen if you upload videos that someone may have reported or a video that Thisvid feels goes against their policies. This can even happen with private videos.

If a video gets deleted before it's uploaded Thisvid banned your account because of the content, if the videos have been up there for a while and disappears then someone reported your video(s)

Happened to me too recently. All friends and favorites lost. No explanation and no response from the support team. I don't get it, if they don't approve a clip, then just block the clip, don't remove the whole account? This website is a joke

Just posted the same thing in another thread. Brand-new account vanished today.

This site is so horribly run, I have no idea why so many people seem to use it exclusively.

Just happened to me too. I have 6 videos waiting to be approved last night, then suddenly this morning my account cant be log in anymore. Did anyone try to contact them? Are we able to retrieve the account back?

Wow i posted that too before i got banned. Its still waiting to be approved. But i dont think thats the problem b3cause theres a lot of ip cam in that site

A few months ago my Thisvid acc got banned and now I'm trying to open a new account but it's continuously showing that creating account is temporarily closed! So how do i fix this now!?

Has anyone had any luck with recovering an account? Mine disappeared with no warning. I hadn't even used it in awhile and most of my videos were private anyway. I'm wondering what happened...

My ThisVid account stopped working. I was not trying to upload any videos. I did not forget my password. When I try the "forgot password" option it never sends me an email to reset the account. Also, trying to create a new account shows the "OOOPS! NEW MEMBER SIGN-UP IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED. PLEASE CHECK BACK LATER." error. Various other people have posted on Twitter that their ThisVid account has stopped working. I think the website must have some serious technical issues.

Same thing happened to me just now. It did allow me to sign up again, but what's the point - all those 'friends' and favorites are just gone. That site is garbage. I'm back to myvidster instead, no BS 'friend' requests.

Why do people even use that site? Joining is a pain since sign-ups are usually closed, many videos are set to private and you can't see them without befriending certain people, and there's an overwhelming amount of scat video thumbnails. Add to that accounts being deleted without warning, and that place seems horrendous.
