I just believe in free speech I guess this site has a diff idea about that. That’s okay tho.Refreshing.
Believe me, the Internet is big enough that you can always find a politics-based forum. This doesn't need to be the place.
I feel like porn sites can try to remain apolitical but with SCOTUS dismantling what we thought were established rights and Justice Thomas in particular saying next they are going after other rulings based on presumed privacy rights, like Lawrence vs Texas, it's only a matter of time before they come after all of us on here.
If they do overturn Lawrence vs Texas, access to porn sites would be the least of our worries.I feel like porn sites can try to remain apolitical but with SCOTUS dismantling what we thought were established rights and Justice Thomas in particular saying next they are going after other rulings based on presumed privacy rights, like Lawrence vs Texas, it's only a matter of time before they come after all of us on here.
After the Roe v Wade decision? LOL not a chance.any?
We did get a lot of opinions and comments about keeping/nuking the Forum. And as many as were pro, we had just as many, if not more, who were anti. The final decision to nuke the Forum was NOT about anything other than this:If The Powers That Be here really wanted opinions about what members felt about the Politics section instead of what drives the traffic, makes a profit and causes the least dissent, the section would never have been closed to begin with.
It's not like Mr. LPSG did not try numerous times to keep the Politics Forum open. What other Forum had it's own subset of Rules? It would not have been locked up if members hadn't overwhelmed mods with complaints. It was more trouble than it was worth for the site.
At this point—based on previous threads that have been posted concerning the reinstatement of Politics—thread lock and “not open for further replies” come to mind.any?
