Anyone could have read his body language and what he said and knows that he is upset that he got caught, more than all the wrong doings he did.

...Had to laugh at some gossipy news show tonite where someone said "Maybe one day the real Tiger Woods can return." DUHHHH! This WAS the real Tiger Woods. It's just that no one knew it.

Apology my ass. I do agree he should have been more sincere. Should'a said, "YES, I FUCKED THEM. IT'S WHAT I DO. THAT, AND PLAY GOLF. WHY? BECAUSE THEY'RE THERE.

I certainly won't join in any hand-wringing about Tiger Woods' privacy.

Here's the thing:

If you become a coal miner, you do so cognizant of the fact that there is a high risk of lung problems.

If you become a Special Forces Commando Soldier, you do so knowing there is a high risk for danger and death.

You take action and you take the benefits and you take the risks that go with the benefits.

If you become a successful high profile professional athlete (or musician, actor, other celebrity.....) you accept the benefits of so doing, and you also accept that your sense of privacy will

NOT BE THE SAME AS THAT OF SOME ANONYMOUS PERSON WHO IS NOT A BILLIONAIRE CELEBRITY PUBLIC FIGURE.

Especially if you have tens of adulterous affairs (with seedy strippers, porn stars and the like) on your beautiful wife while she's caring for your two infant children......said wife beats you down in the middle of the night on a National holiday, you go crash the car, try to cover it up...............

The "apology" was not that. It was a statement to the media to back the fuck off.

Probably won't have the hoped-for effect.

You are right to a degree, however, bottom line....whether or not this marriage is to survive this still remains between Tiger and his wife.
Not the media
Not the sponsors
Not his parents or her parents
Not the public's roving eye for drama.

When these kinds of situations blow up in the media, they take on an after life.
The public at large is very jaded and like the people of ancient Rome who came to watch the blood baths at the coliseum...they are VERY PARTICULAR about the kind of blood bath they want to see more of.

Well, the big man has spoken -- I found it to be cold and arrogant and not at all believable. Surely he must think we are stupid NOT to believe that a confrontation did not occur before he ran into the tree (or whatever). He is so lost in fame and money that he still thinks his fan base and sponsors will forgive and forget his sex ventures! What a dupe. Just another rich, famous, arrogant athlete.

Except when he's playing golf or for commercials he doesn't smile very much and always seems stiff like he doesn't do well with interviews.

I don't think he owed any of us an apology or explaining, it's his personal life and none of our business. My marriage and divorce are private and so his should be too.

It angered me when I heard him have to tell the media to stay away from his wife and children, I mean what low life are in the media now that are trailng after his children? The children they had nothing to do with this mess.
