If that's what you're after, I have to say, the current climate is too polarized for them to speak up. It's unfortunate but that is how it is. Ewan, you did "get it" but as I wrote earlier, the climate is too polarized for such a discussion. Moreover, long legs was the wrong person to attempt such a thing because in other threads he's established himself as pro-circ, I/M/O. Thus, his motives would be suspect.

I think he was sincere but the topic had an extremely slim chance of working. The cut crusaders quickly destroyed that chance.
