You jumped at the chance to take something out of context for your purpose. In that I wonder how many people took your limited quote and ran with it.

That was a shameless, unfair and discriminatory attempt to paint the Tea Party people in a certain light.

Until some real names emerge from the so-called Tea Party that know how to speak to the American public with real ideas and solutions to solve our nation's problems, doesn't regurgitate senseless moralistic rhetoric and doesn't polarize citizens with nonsense about "real Americans", then nobody has to paint that small sect of people in any particular light. They do it to themselves.

Then you did what I'm sure some did in reading your post. Took something that was misrepresented it and ran with it because it was what you WANTED to hear.

I love your passion about your ideas. I do. It is very American. And as a fellow baystater I like you. But, these tactics at trying to make your point with fiction is beneath you.

Do you understand what is meant by "real Americans?"

This is harassment! If you don't cut it out I am going to have your IP's banned and bring legal action against you!!
Take a look at your signature line. If you can get away with fake quotes supposedly from other members of this forum then I can certainly get away with calling you on your double sided bull.
And btw all I'm doing is expressing shock that you somehow think it's an insult to call a gay man a HOMOSEXUAL. You really aren't the brightest bulb on the tree.

Yes... I'm one of them regardless of what a Tea Partier says. I was born here. That makes me a "real American". Everything else is subject to your own personal definitions that I don't have to adhere to because YOU don't determine whether or not I deserve certain rights & liberties for being an American.

How about you?

I not saying I define it. But I do get the impression that people want to paint that "real Americans" means white and str8.

I like to think it means people who aren't afraid to fend for themselves. People are not interested in living off the gov't.

The problem with the left v right is the fundamental difference in how much gov't either side wants.

What becomes disappointing is we end up hating each other over it instead of learning from each other.

Some people most certainly want to do that.
For obvious reasons, I would have objection to it.

That is such ideological nonsense, it's laughable.
Dude, YOU live off the government. We all do, or do you think every Policeman, Fireman or any other government worker is just volunteering their time at no pay? When roads are being repaired, bridges being built, food being passed by inspections so that you don't get a botched batch of steak, you think everyone of them are doing it just for your benefit?

The problem with the left v right is the fundamental difference in how much gov't either side wants.

More nonsense.
Government is nothing more than a reflection of ourselves. The good AND the bad. We don't raise or cultivate a different species just to run government... it's made up of people like you and me. By definition of being human, we naturally want to do less and make more. If government didn't have to lift a finger to get things done, they would not do anything. That's REGARDLESS if the left or the right were running things. The difference lays within individual people that realize when it's time for talk and when it's time to roll up our sleeves and work together.

What becomes disappointing is we end up hating each other over it instead of learning from each other.

There are many opportunities to learn from one another. Sadly, ideological views continually get in the way of people's realities. That's why someone who grew up in a nice neighborhood, has a house in the suburbs, a great job and makes $100K a year will look at another person who lives in a rough neighborhood, has two full time jobs, barely makes a working class salary, can't afford healthcare and tell them that they need to "work harder". Get the picture?

Hey Vinyl.... You;re a black guy!

I prefer to be called sexual chocolate. :biggrin1:
What's even funnier is that I don't know your color (since you don't have any photos of yourself), could careless what it is, and even if you turned out to be Native Indian my sentiments would remain the same.

Who hurt you as a child?

Let go of the pain.

Love and trust my friend.

You've given me no reason to trust you.
You can't even post a picture of yourself on this board. If you have to hide behind some cloak of anonymity, there's no way I could ever completely trust you. Now, do you have anything of any real value to say or is your sex life so pathetic you need to resort to ASCII-baiting in order to rub one off?
