    true facts.

when ever the world gets wobbly celebretards start forgetting their underpants.

there is even an app for tracking worldwide political upheaval based on Enquirer headlines, twitter activity and Kim Kardasian's vagina.

Time is pretty leftwing, so they wouldn't want to post an image like that because it would be associated with the current Occupy thing we have going. It'd make them (everyone) look bad.

Maybe, except the cover in question shows events in Egypt last week. It has nothing to do with OWS: good try, though.

Why is time holding out on the rest of the world?? We have all been inculcated with 'anti-anxiety' propaganda our whole lives, and now we're finally getting the other side of the story!

I have to chuckle at this. Time is so bland that I wouldn't even think about ascribing a political affiliation to them. I realize that is the first thing some people do, before they begin to ingest, analyze, interpret any information.

But seriously. If Fox News is your grounding place, which media organizations aren't "pretty leftwing"? That's the game, after all. Fox and it's minions are so far out right that anything in the center is lefty. Crazy times.

The only reason time us didn't have the same cover story is it wouldn't move as many mags off the racks. Time's only agenda is to sell more magazines which in the us amounts to dumbing down the content to broaden there audience.

Actually according to a peer-reviewed study the exact opposite is true.

    http://www.sscnet.ucla.edu/polisci/faculty/groseclose/pdfs/MediaBias.pdf

The reality is most of the media has a left-wing bias and we have gotten used to it, so when you look at fox-news you think they are right-wing when in fact as other studies have shown they are actually the most centrist and balanced of all the news channels.

"The study also found that Fox News Channel’s evening news show provided more balanced coverage than its counterparts on the broadcast networks."

Aren't the OWS people calling for revolutions similar to in other places? Sounds like what they want.

In a word: no, OWS is most definitely not about "second amendment solutions"

LOL to the nth. From your "peer reviewed study":

"We measure media bias by estimating ideological scores for several major media outlets. To compute this, we count the times that a particular media outlet cites various think tanks and policy groups, and then compare this with the times that members of Congress cite the same groups."

That's absolutely hilarious. "Estimating" "ideological scores", and comparing with Congress. WTF??!!

    +1

Citing Fox news is a complete and utter joke. They're on the radical right because they get PAID to have that opinion.

Why would the WH want us to draw parallels between the revolutions going on in other countries to the protests going on here? If you think the WH doesn't issue little "nudges" to media outlets to not publish or to publish certain things, you're gravely mistaken

Obviously you have never read many scientific studies and you knee-jerk response is to cover up your error.

The fact is that this study was published several years ago in a peer-reviewed journal. No one to date has refuted it, which is very rare because to publish another study that refutes a already published study gets you attention and status.

Of course, I am sure that you are much more educated and intelligent than all of those individuals that have spent their life researching such topics. However you comments do illustrate that you could not understand their rather simple formula that a computer uses to give quotient and slant range scores to media articles.

I suggest rather than immediately blowing off facts, data and evidence that do not conform to your ideological dogmas that you actually look at the talking points you are spewing and wonder why they fly in the face of empirical evidence.

But every study that is done on this by objective sources states the exact opposite.

How in the world do you explain that????????

I understand that MSNBC's pundits and other far-left bloggers keep repeating this meme but facts, data and evidence dispute it.

The reality is that Columbia school of Journalism, Cornell school of Communication, George Mason university, Scientific American, peer-reviewed studies all of have found that Fox is pretty fair and balanced and middle of the road.

Could it be that you are the one that is so far to the left that in YOUR perspective the Center seems radical right?????????

I don't know it's pretty hard for me to accept extreme left talking points over the scientific facts, data and evidence.

Frankly I want to see your footnotes.

I'd be very interested in finding another news outlet run by a former Republican or Democratic strategist like Faux News has with Roger Ailes. And one who blows a gasket on a university:

Columbia Journalism School Dean: Fox News Attacks 'Very Good Advertising For Us'

As Jon Stewart says the narrative of conservative victimization has gone so far. It is now simply absurd. It permeates every discussion of the issues. In less than two days you've brought it up in two threads. Cry babies? Indeed.

Any editorial judgment in news or schools or movies that doesn’t favor the conservative view is elitism and evidence of conservative bias were any news item that favors the conservative view is evidence of fairness and done to protect them from liberal bias AND if you criticize Fox for this game guess what that is evidence of?? Yes how right they are. And how persecuted they are. It is AIRTIGHT. They can’t lose.
