I have been wondering how to easily look up what time it is in any given locale to know when to best catch up with friends, be they in sngapore, south africa, south america, europe or scandinavia and i came across this website:

timeanddate.com

put in the city you want to know the time in and it also gives weather there and lots of other very useful information. also great for travel.

The Dashboard utility on my Macbook Pro is much easier to access and use. Plus, it includes the local temperature and weather of whatever city in the world you type in and the calculator is BIG and easy to use.

But I quite liked the time/date/weather utility one can down load from Google back when I lugged around my old Dell Inspiron 8600.

Still, good to know about other ways of the checking date and time in Katmandu.
