You know, TC is the epitome of what I’ve always believed. That straight men given a liberal surrounding, a secure environment in home and school (in the form of an art school) and the self confidence of not giving a fuck what others believe that you develop as a New Yorker will be much more comfortable around a spectrum of sexualities, not afraid to embrace their feminine and sensitive sides and can develop and enjoy a sense of creative and unrestrained fashion. The dash of recent European heritage is part of this as well. Elgort, too carries much of this also. It’s my hope that more American straight boys gravitate towards these models of contemporary masculinity, rather then the outdated and destructive macho ones that are so prevalent.
