That's because majority of gay men like that

A lot of men who are willing to pay for dudes’ OnlyFans or pay for escorting are into it. They’re feeding into their paying demo, not really “the majority of gay men”. And nonetheless, it remains cringe and often problematic. This dude was fairly effeminate just a handful of years ago. Now, he’s leaning deep into the “bi masc, bro” persona. Of course, gender expressions and masculinity/femininity can have fluidity. But once you look right below the fantasy and fetish and personas for profit, you see a lot of dudes with queer insecurities, gay panic, mental health struggles, guys not knowing how to maturely deal with the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, emotion, commitment spectrum. And once you see it, it’s impossible to still see these guys as the same. It just comes off as a bunch of guys trying on different costumes and having sex with whoever and using folks to cope with traumas and insecurities.

In other words, a lot of these dudes think they’re giving off “masc” and “bro” and “straight passing”. But it’s just coming off as another version of a drag show. I know masculinity/femininity, fluidity, traumas, the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, emotion, commitment spectrum can be a difficult terrain for many. But it’s a shame to still see so many dudes fall into the same lame and insecure and often gay-shaming traps while getting uplifted from certain queers. However, it’s totally expected from porn performers.

It's not that deep, he's a 6'5 athletic white man, if he lets his beard grow and play into this masc top persona he can make easy money, and that's what he did.

It's no different than a 5'5 hairy twink realizing that if he shaves his body and becomes a sub bottom he'll make a lot of money even if he's a masc top in real life. These people are called porn ACTORS for a reason, it's all an act.

I really don’t get why people get all pissy if gay porn actors do something on video they wouldn’t do in real life

I agree to a certain degree. When it comes to sex workers, it’s never smart to take them at face value. Money and ego will always be the main driving points to how they present themselves.

The problem is that a lot of the “queer community” still has an unfortunate connection to the porn industry and use it to reflect the “real world”. The problem is that there’s still a ton of masculine and hetero privilege. The problem is that there’s still a ton of queer insecurities, masculine fragility, gay resentments, people not knowing how to handle their mental health, fluidity, contradictions, place in the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, emotion, commitment spectrum. Too many folks can’t step out of the fantasy, and that includes people who sell the fantasy and people who get off on it.

Also, y’all can’t come up with something better/different than this bro-masc shit? That was played out a decade ago.

It's not the porn actors fault for the viewers lack of ability to understand their own sexuality.

He’s attractive enough and some of his videos are a turn-on (especially the ones where he’s giving head). But his persona and the videos he makes do give off forced masculinity vibes and leans into the tired “bro-mantic”/“we’re just a couple of bros hooking up” vibes. It’s weird how so many of these guys are unabashedly queer, fuck dudes, suck dick, some have homo relationships/romantic leanings, but they still find a way to give off gay insecurities, toxic masculinity, “straight” privilege energy.
It was interesting, in one of his Lives he explained he's in a relationship with a woman and he could not really see himself in a relationship with a man. He likes to have sex with men but that's it. Also what you'd expect, the men have to be in peak physical condition or he's not interested. So it seems like men are sexual objects to him only.
