Unless a person is a proven asshole I give them the benefit of the doubt. So whenever someone likes something in my gallery I usually take a look at theirs as well, even if I've never heard of them before. However I respect your different stance.
Also, it would be nice if women looked at my gallery as well, but then I know that I frequent the wrong parts of the forum where there aren't many women around. So there's no way to make them interested in the first place, even if I were one of the good guys. So I'm only bitching in silence.

I'm kind of late to the table for this particular subject, but...
This is a penis-centric site so penis avatars and pics are sort of de rigueur to some. Even then, I prefer to emphasize my stronger features, so elsewhere I tend to lead with body pics and whatnot.
Now OUTSIDE of LPSG, I don't use dick pics for an avatar. My reasoning is that it's better to get someone interested in you first, then let them see it if their interest is piqued. Also, it's become clichéd.
Back on the subject, if I take a dick pic, I prefer to be creative with angles and use optimum lighting. I have heard women say they prefer cock pics that are creative and used sparingly, and like to see more of the guy in the shot, as opposed to just another disembodied penis.

If you impress me with your mind then someday I might look in your gallery. It has happened on same day situations but this is rare and that’s just the way it is.
I’ve had to be gently reminded to please look at people’s pics as I get so caught up in messaging people.
