Well, a novice would try to swallow it all prematurely. Make sure the entire shaft is wet, and gradually take additional inches as you become more comfortable. (This is usually done to me before I am fully erect. It may work for you as well). Proper breathing is important to alleviate choking and bar the gag reflex. most important thing is to really relax. don't get excited and try to take too much. work it down slowly. you DO get better with practice but a lot of this is just learning how to control yourself. i feel like i reach a certain point where im warmed up and then really able to take it then.
