Alright, take it from me since I've successfully dealt with the hair of a bunch of female friends. There's a reason why Victoria's Secret models have long hair, often in bouncy waves. It's gorgeous and way more widely attractive than short or overlong hair. Short can look butch, efficient, like there's less consideration or effort, etc. Too long can look radical, careless, unprofessional, unkempt, etc.
Maintain a long style, but not endlessly, uncut long. It is just plain the best looking to the most people. And don't discount me because I'm gay (straight men aren't the ones working behind the scenes with all the women to style, design, and refine).
You want a style that no one can argue is bad looking on you? The style that more A-list actresses have for a damn good reason? Then you want a well-maintained, not short, not shoulder, but long, luscious hair that doesn't get so long it's beaten and dead long.
Go for it, you'll look fresh, self-respecting, and just as beautiful no matter the style, but to way more people who want to see you looking good. It's not just a truth of consensus, but a marketing truth entirely.
To be clear, I'd say 2-5 inches longer than photo 2.
Hello, Kate Middleton. What lovely hair.
