"Is porn bad and shameful? It does seem to be the case for women unfortunately. I wonder if his life would have been different if we didn't live in a misogynist world, and porn wasn't like a constant stream of misogynist vomit being constantly rehashed and regurgitated." --from thread https://www.lpsg.com/threads/my-mom-is-a-pornstar-interesting-and-legit-read.449740/.
Most all of the porn which I've ever seen seems misogynistic, as Swoon contends, in that it seems that all which is important is that the male is being pleasured, right from the opening dutiful blow job to the closing cum-shot all over the woman's smiling face. And the women in such act as instruments for the male's pleasure. Unfortunately for me, what turns me on are films which at least provide a believable illusion that the sex is being equally participated in and enjoyed by the woman in front of the camera--that's way more reflective of my own experiences between the sheets than what the San Fernando Valley seems to churn out.
I'm curious about a woman's perspective on pornography these days. Is it all just a "conscious stream of misogynistic vomit being constantly (watch that redundancy, Swoon. ed.) rehashed and regurgitated?" Is there any type/approach of/to sexual content which you find not repugnant, but arousing? What, if anything, could be done to pornography to become more attuned to your libidinal sensibilities when you feel the itch?
Thanks,
AYC
