Have the members here ever had a real life convention?

I mean we pick a central location and all travel to a hotel to meet up in person. Need someone to coordinate, but everyone pays their own way.

Some members have met each other when their paths crossed at the right time. Since Ive been here, meets have been discussed but never finalized. I have a couple meetings with members over the next couple months- one a potential romantic interest and one because he is passing through town.
But a large group meeting would be great, its unfortunate we are scattered all over the globe.

Unfortunately, many folks are complaining about having it in the midwest.
I for two,{Mr. Ed & I} would be happy to meet wherever!
