Here's a list of the number of threads in each forum that have received any activity during the past 24 hours. Consider it a measure of how active that forum is:
- New Member Introductions: 28 threads
- Sex With A Large Penis: 18 threads
- Underwear: 18 threads
- The Healthy Penis: 15 threads
- Young and Hung: 32 threads
- Celebrity Endowments: 38 threads
- Women's Issues: 16 threads
- Funny Stuff: 20 threads
- Penis Enlargement: 4 threads
- Fictitious Stories: 4 threads
- Adult Websites: 31 threads
- Et Cetera Et Cetera: 51 threads
- Large Penis Personal Ads: 22 threads
- Webcams: 10 threads
- Help Desk: 2 threads
The Et Cetera Et Cetera forum is scrolling at a much faster rate than any other forum; for a user to catch up with the previous 24 hours' posting, they have to start all the way back at page 3 and work their way forward.
To alleviate this volume, I'd like to propose the creation of two subforums:
- 2008 US Presidential Election. Not all of our readers are Americans, and even out of the ones who are, not all of them are interested in the volume of posts (or the level of hostility) this topic has generated. This forum would be temporary; posts in the forums would be folded back into Et Cetera Et Cetera once the election is over.
- Special Events: This thread would host discussion of other special events that are likely to generate discussion, such as:
- August 8-August 24: The 2008 Summer Olympics
- August 25-September 27: The 2008 U.S. Open
- October 22-October 30: The 2008 World Series
- February 1: Superbowl XLIII
- February 22: The 81st Academy Awards
This latter thread would also alleviate some of the scrolling in "Celebrity Endowments", our second-busiest forum. During the 2004 Olympics, there was a lot of speculation on the various swimmers, divers, runners, and gymnasts that competed in speedos and shorts. I'm envisioning this thread as being permanent, but with a 'rotating' topic.
