I agree regarding the walk-outs, unless people get to a point where they can not control how much time they are spending here.
Perhaps now would be a good time for someone to set the record straight as to what are the definitions of ownership, administration, moderation and membership.
OCD and the internet fit each other like hand and glove; I hadn't considered those for whom participation at LPSG can become an obsessive and all-consuming vector in their lives. There's also a condition commonly referred to as "
sexual addiction*" and those who feel they meet the criteria for that would be well-advised to avoid this place as well.
*"Sex addiction" is mislabeled in my opinion: my trouble with the expression comes from the word "addiction", which, along with "fetish" and "fascist" is so overused and used so incorrectly as to make them practically meaningless. An addiction is a physical dependency on a substance: "compulsion" is a much better word choice, IMHO. Compulsions are involuntary (at least eventually) obsessions, which is not the same thing as the physical dependency an addict feels for Heroin, for instance.

As to definitions, I think that these probably work:
Owner: The person who invested money into the site through a purchasing agreement; he is legally liable for its contents and financially responsible for its maintenance. Depending on his level of trust (and/or experience) of the admins, he may or may not formulate the ToS and have final say in how they are enforced. Some are more hands-on, others more laisser-faire, but all responsibility ultimately falls on his shoulders.
Administrator: Follows the directives of the owner and manages the moderators; these positions are generally paid-positions, though not always. Final decisions regarding membership privileges and responsibilities and the extent to which they have been compromised by an individual member or mod may or may not be left up to them, depending on the owner. Presumably, they formulate the ToS with or without the owner's input.
Moderator: A volunteer who polices the website and is answerable to the admins and (presumably) the owner. It's my understanding that the mods, admins and owner have a special forum to discuss issues regarding individual posts and members in relation to the ToS and content issues. I have never been a mod here, so I cannot verify the extent of dialog that takes place there nor to what degree an individual mod can effect the outcome of any decision made by the admins and/or owner; it's also my understanding that some issues are voted upon, though, again, I have no idea what constitutes a majority vote nor to what degree such a majority vote would have on any decisions eventually determined by either the admins, owner or both.
All three of the positions mentioned above have the power to alter or delete posts deemed offensive or disallowed under the ToS.
Member: LPSG offers two kinds of memberships right now. Standard membership entitles anyone who falls within the eligibility criteria free access to the fora and chat; it also allows these members to post photos of him/herself in galleries found on their homepages. Gold membership is a paid-for status which allows full access not just to the privileges listed above but to all galleries as well; Standard members with fewer than 1000 posts only see blurry images in the galleries; once 1000 posts have been made, the Standard member then is awarded Gold status. IMO awarding Gold membership for reaching 1000 posts encourages post-whoring, but that's another discussion for another day.
Let's not tempt fate eh? I mean, I am off again soon. Let's hope it's me who decides when .
The Ignore feature works brilliantly, sir.
