Lots more fun to button and unbutton the fly, Max. In fact I bought a pair of undergear, green silk boxers b/c it had tiny buttons down the fly which take a long time to button and unbutton. I've never economised on using my fingers in that region.

No good with fingers like mine ... 2 left thumbs and always in a hurry . Also, unbuttoned gives me a little more room.

It depends on mood and setting for me. For example, I recently went out for some drinks at a dance hall/ bar and I was in usual tee and jeans with a belt and I unzipped and pissed at the open row urinals since I didnt want to mess with undoing and rebuckling belt. Fished only cock out fly to piss and of course observed others discreetly who had piss practices all over spectrum with opened pants or unzipped fly only to let cock out to piss and/ or hauled balls out too to piss comfortably.
