Yikes! I have this and didn't know it had a name. Time to put a towel under my laptop!
Anyone else here have this??????

I can't bear having my laptop in my actual lap, always have it resting on big wide arm of my couch.

I saw something on the news a few years ago that it's also not too great for your family jewels to have the laptop on your lap. Never done it.
