Biden indicates he’d veto ‘Medicare-for-all’

If Biden wins, MCA is dead for a decade, at least.

I think MFA is dead even if Sanders wins. His 'damned bill' has 14 co-sponsors in the Senate - out of 47 Democrats. I only see a few nationally running on it, so even if 6 newbies come in (a miracle in and of itself) there is no support in the Senate. It simply cannot happen anywhere near as fast as Bernie and Warren campaigned on. If a public option becomes available, that people slowly move to and embrace then maybe waaaaay down the road the landscape will look different.

Michigan is the wild card. While Biden his right now heavily favored, Clinton was heavily favored in 2016 and Sanders beat her 'bigly.' If however Sanders loses here, he's probably finished, unless Hunter Biden gets another job.

I thought, and still think that Elizabeth Warren was the smartest candidate running, by a lot, but her single minded notion that MCA was the key issue for voters was just stupid. It isn’t a hot button for the majority of voters, not in the least.

Senator Sanders beat Secretary Clinton by 1.42% in 2016. He narrowly beat her. 17,000 votes. 2020 is not 2016. I expect Biden to win big.

Last Tuesday and today: exit poll after exit poll say it's a referendum on who can beat Trump.

A clear majority of Americans (57%) want health care for all. Since private insurance can't and won't provide it only a government insurance program can.

The polling I am hearing about now is that people are concerned about 'chaos.' They want Trump gone and at least a cross section polled things Biden is the best shot to do it. The toll of Trumps poor handling of the government is being seen and assessed, and it is pulling people to Biden and will probably hurt Trump in November.

Then why is the early frontrunner out of this race?

Because a national health isn't the dominant issue. Getting rid of Trump is. You know as well as I that early front runners often fade.

A national health IS my issue as is getting the wealthy and corporations to pay their fair share of taxes. I voted for Bernie.

As much as you want to keep harping on this Warren and for that matter Sanders was not a "one trick pony"

She had "a plan for that" that being EVERYTHING

Sanders had plans beyond MCA ,College tuition etc etc

. . . but no way to pay for them that he wanted to share.

And Biden says “ NO Medicare for All” and is winning, so there is that.

If it was/is ALL about MCA like you keep trying to claim then why

Didn't Mike Bloomberg catch on? He was NOT for MCA., just like Joe Biden

Didn't Amy Klobachar catch on? She was NOT for MCA, Just like Joe Biden

Didn't Mayor Pete stay ought on? He was NOT for MCA JUST like Joe Biden

The three Governors who never made it out of the gate? Far as I know NONE of them were for MCA, Just like Joe Biden
