Chill the fuck out, you look like one of those crazy liberals.
Oh I am so sorry, I'll just give myself a quick frontal lobotomy and then I can go and blow up a government building, yey!!!!
And who can honestly say that they haven't dreamed of setting fire to a public building eh?

Levi my husband almost got blown up in that building. Last i checked, the teabagger party wasnt for Timothy McVeigh and never has been. I know of no republican i've ever spoken to who was for that. Maybe you should shut up and quit assuming people who vote republican want to blow up buildings you half witted ass hat. You are sounding stupider by the second.

So who was from England that i can assume YOUR people were all for, no matter what kind of horrible things they did. You have no idea how disgusting it was to see the OKC bombing. Just visiting the memorial literally rips your heart out.

Yet he didn't, so what's your point? Please don't tell me you just tried to use that as a reason for people here to sympathize with you, even though nothing actually happened? How fucking pathetic can a person get?

God, I WISH that all they wanted to do was blow up govt buildings! Do you know how much less debt our country would have right now if that were the case?

You are pretty sick. Seriously. I've been around more republicans living in the south than most of you and i've never seen the kind of accusations many of you pull up as the standard republican. It's really getting a little silly how much you all lose sleep at night over that. I quit listening to the garbage about the opposing party a long time ago, it's all biased in one direction or another.

I can't take a few fringe people and assume they are everyone of that party. I've met some very good people on the opposing side. Don't even joke about blowing up buildings over a party line. It's not even funny.

No, the sick person is you for disrespecting your husband by dragging him into this issue, apparently because you're not capable of persuading people to your position on its merits, thus you have to resort to guilt trips and personal attacks. Does your husband know that you use him as a weapon in your arguments with others? Do you do this to other members of your family, or is your husband the only one you have no respect for?

It's not about sympathy, my husband had the windows blown out of the building he was in next to that building. It's pretty scary to think about. People lined up around the block to try to donate blood and services. Regardless your political party, its a serious and tragic event that isnt a joke. The people responsible for it are not ordinary republican voters. As much as you'd like to imagine everyone to be toothless gun toting rednecks, it's not the case. And your attitude about losing life like that is really pathetic.

You are beyond talking to. If someone you know was literally feet from a major explosion, wouldnt that event affect you? Stop making me out to be a person trying to get attention. This story affected a lot more than just myself. You have some serious issues when you can't even see why someone would be bothered by the OKlahoma City Bombing. So do you walk around New York City and joke about the world trade center too?

How can i have no respect for a man i love very much and would hate to see die? I guess no one loves you enough to feel that sort of respect for eh? Go back and look at my posts and tell me if i have any more stories about people who have been almost killed from terrorist attacks....you will find...ZERO. So stop assuming shit you know nothing about.

Go visit that memorial site and tell me that reading the names of the innocent people killed, complete strangers even, doesn't make you feel sad about it. If not, you are beyond help. Maybe you are the type who could do that kind of damage, you'd have to be heartless.

"It's not about sympathy" and then you spend the entire rest of your post describing a sympathetic scenario.

Good thing you've got nice tits, because your husband obviously didn't marry you for your intellect.

VB i will try to take a look at the link a little later. I've lost much of my interest in politics anymore. I dont agree much with either party and it's nauseating to even think about the elections. I hate seeing fringe groups do stupid shit. I'd rather watch someone eat their own rotting leg. In fact, i probably have seen that more than i've seen the news.

I got rid of my TV a while back and it's been very peaceful ;) Sorry to jump in on your thread without looking at it first.

All you have to do is to look at who they elect in Oklahome to realize that most of them have listened to Merle Haggard so long they truly believe that they are the only true Americans alive. How ironic that even Muscogee can have a mall shooting of innocent people, as it occurred earlier this month.
Oklahoma is why i am proud of being a native Callifornian. Thank you Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein. You rock!!

Yeah, since the invasion of Martha Stewart's BigK collection, it's hard for Klan members to find cheap, white sheets these days. So, they show up wearing what's available: Dockers pastel low-count cotton shirts from Old Navy. But you can still tell them from the non Klan members because they still show up in shit kickers or Redwing hunting boots.

I live within Klan territory and can tell you that most rifle, hunting and sportsman clubs are mere fronts for the Klan.

A lot of historical and restoration societies are actually Klan meetings

Sadly, I am gonna blow yer minds and tell you that most Southern EMS rescue squads are just KKK fronts.

A lot of horse riding clubs are just KKK fronts... in fact, A LARGE PORTION OF THE "CLUBS" IN THE SOUTH EAST ARE NOTHING MORE THAN THE "NEW" KKK.

White supremacy is alive and well in the U.S.A.

They are fucking everywhere in the rural South... they've been chased out of every large city that they have ever been located in, but are protected among the backroads and rows of corn. They blend in with the normal rural population. Most everyone down here has a relative that was or still is in the Klan and even the good Southern people have soft spots in their hearts for the KKK.

They make up the majority of the local Sheriff's departments... many of the deputies are Klan members. They have been purged out of most of the city police departments and have no real central power there. The North Carolina Highway patrol is pretty much free from the Klan as well.

What is funny is that the rescue squads are all KKK but bust their asses to save black folk whenever they need help.

They can't help it even with their racist conditioning, they are still human after all.

Most of today's KKK members will argue up and down with you that they are not racist... and by their great grandparent's standards, they are right.

It's not so much "white power" with them as it is "Southern power". Many Southern people are just nostalgic for the past and are essentially anarchists who hate all forms of authority and detest high knowledge.

They also resent starting a war and getting beat down as a result... resulting in HUGE chips on their shoulder towards outsiders (especially Yankees that could be descended from Union soldiers).

Is Oklahoma chock full of Klan members? You had better believe it, it is one of the most racist states in the country.

The ever thriving KLAN you are referring to must stay pretty rural and well hidden. I've lived here for 30 years and i've never seen it. In fact, no one ever talks about them. Tulsa and OKC are quite cosmopolitan compared to what you are picturing.

I see more electic people in the city, i see blacks, whites, asians and hispanics living in peace with each other. If anything, i have an experience with a ghetto school where i had gotten beat up for simply being white.

Your stereotypes are not what you are thinking for the typical Oklahoman. You should visit and see for yourself. You might be disappointed that you arent right. I have a very large family mostly from here for the last 100+ years and the word "klan" has never been mentioned even by the rural family i have. They couldnt drive you to a house where those types even live if you asked them to.

People who don't agree with that stuff have no interest in associating with it. I know that sort of thinking is way way over your head.

Even in rural areas they would stay to themselves, they would get hell for it in public places. We don't see riots, parades or public displays of blatant racism going on- even way out in the boondocks. Most of the time the rural people are just working on their land to make a living and hope their kids get a diploma and maybe some college experience and a retirement plan to live on.

Tulsa has a sizeable black population... there is very little KKK activity in Tulsa and OKC

I see more electic people in the city, i see blacks, whites, asians and hispanics living in peace with each other. If anything, i have an experience with a ghetto school where i had gotten beat up for simply being white.

I went to an all-black highschool and the black folk LOVED me, the white kids were a bunch of stuck up assholes. But of course, I am not racist and they knew that without me even opening my mouth...

There is no doubt that you are descended from good and loving people. It is not surprising to me that your family isn't connected to the Klan. Should I be surprised?

Even in rural areas they would stay to themselves, they would get hell for it in public places.

That's why you don't see them with your eyeballs.

We don't see riots, parades or public displays of blatant racism going on- even way out in the boondocks

They don't have parades or public displays anymore because they don't want to attract the interest of the FBI

Maybe you should get a TV? KKK In Oklahoma

I found that with absolutely NO effort, I could find more if you'd like?

Every state has groups of people that are completely unacceptable, yes, even to the opposing party voters. I have slowly morphed into a semi-conservative semi-liberal. My family background is pretty well uneducated and toothless for the most part, but i still never saw the racism from even them that you are discribing.

I was beat up by a girl that hated white people, i was a very quiet and reserved (often scared) person at that school. She hated white people because her parents also hated white people going back to very real racism that existed for those older folks.

You can see racism everywhere. It has a biological pattern in our brain to want to be around people who think and look the way we do. It takes effort to stray from that. But by no means do even most southerners believe that treating people of another color or religion like crap is ok.

I've seen more than a few adopted black children to white families. A lot of interacial coupling. We don't really have a sizable black population given we are in the south, if you drive to texas, arkansas, missouri and kansas they are represented in greater numbers. Partially due to the lack of plantation and large farms that migrated the black people to the south.

But i skate with a lot of older black people and we talk about racism and many of them over 60 years old have no particular stories of blatant mistreatment from white people. I have no fear in conversing with them about it because i am curious about their experience.

We also have a sizable native american population here as well, almost entirely diluted these days. There is a history of mistreatment of the indians that is still fresh in the memories of everyone around. I might come off as being raised in a better household, but my people are those people that would be accused of racism automatically because of their poverty and living in the south. A few people in the family have drawn the line in the family tree to want more and be better. Most people are this way.

I live in a rural town now and while it has very few black people, the ones we see are intermingling with the white kids. I think the current generation of people are being taught by their parents or the local public school system to accept everyone.

I get the paperwork they teach my daughter in 2nd grade, a lot of stuff about Martin Luther King, Obama, etc. She has so many historical events of racism memorized from watching films because they are trying their best to teach our kids not to hate and do bad things just because someone thinks or looks differently.

Our kids are getting these messages from public television as well. In fact, they are being taught to get on to their parents for any behavior the school teaches is wrong. They are getting the good message of acceptance in the brains of the children early on. They come home from school feeling really good about liking everyone that looks different. My daughter's best friend is black and shes never mentioned that up.

My nephew that was adopted at 6 weeks old, he is black, has never been strange to the other kids in our predominately white family. She was more concerned that his genitals looked differently from hers. She also says she wants to adopt several children of multiple races. I didn't teach her this, life has taught her this. She has no reason to disrespect the asian kids or the black kids or anyone, because i dont, grandma doesnt and the school teaches her it is wrong too.

The hope lies in the youngest of our people to turn around whatever was really fucked up.
