News reports say that The Today Show wil now allow same-sex couples to compete in their Wedding contest.
The times they are a changin!

I haven't gone to their website to get the details. I learned about this from AOL.

NBC actually redirects readers to GLAAD's statement.

Of course, the American Family Association has gone apeshit on this and called for a boycott of the Today Show.

By the way, their new rules (accepting same sex contestants) applies only to future "Today Throws a Wedding" weddings. It doesn't apply to this year's contest.
And then who's to say NBC will even continue having the contest after this year?
    (says the cynic in me)
