Oh boy... good ol' disillusioned Tom Delay. Another one of those government types that seem to think most people "want" to be Unemployed. How disconnected is this fool?

The unspoken but heavily promoted idea is that everything that happens to you is your own fault because your are either stupid or lazy or both. And any attempts by government to help you is very un-Darwin. Even though we don't like that crappy part of Darwinism and evolution.

Tom Delay can talk all he wants about people who scam the system, defraud the government, and steal from its citizens; he has a long history of such crimes, so he knows what he's talking about. From terroristic threatening of families of political opponents, to misuse of police units, the Abramoff scandal, and even believing congress had a place at Terry Schiavo's deathbed (which party wants to control when and how you die?) Tom Delay is a criminal in the fashion of Boss Tweed.

Never ONCE has he done something to benefit the people of his district that didn't involve Tom getting his first. The man has no concience, no shame, and no real dignity and certainly no integrity. Not only were his policies foul, but also his politics, and breath.

So I have no doubt that there are people who are taking advantage of the system, there always is, but no one has taken advantage of the public trust like Tom Delay.
