I think it’s really him. I saw him in a play after this aired. He kept his clothes on, but very noticeable bulge.

As Glue was a British series on one of the smaller channels, I’d imagine it wouldn’t have had the budget to do a lifelike body just for one shot. I doubt they gone all HBO.
