What Your question doesn't even make sense.

If anything, my comment was against straight men in gay porn, not in favour of them. I mentioned Mason was gay in contrast to the fact that the other guy is not gay but is doing gay porn, the implication being that it was a bad thing. Not the being straight per se, but the fetishizing of straight men in gay porn when there are plenty of beautiful gay men out there.

I can't believe I had to spend so long explaining what seemed so obvious to me.

Um, YES. Perhaps you don't read as many gay porn blogs as I do, but the subject of straight men doing gay porn is a massive, constant, unending wrangling back-and-forth of accusations, disgust, fetishization, homophobia, heterophobia, biphobia, and every other kind of hysterical freakery you choose to name. So clearly people DO care about it.

My personal opinion is that I don't care how a man defines himself a long as he puts on a good show and convinces me he's enjoying himself. But all other things being equal, I'd prefer that my gay porn stars be actually gay men who love dick with a passion and have no problems demonstrating that, because then they're more likely to put on a good show. I don't think that's an unreasonable request.

And I still don't understand how this conversation got so far out of hand.
