Hmmm...mine is lower. I touch it whenever I want.

The problem with finding info on the general public's anatomy is that things don't always line up. It's best to get to know your own body, b/c so much we read about female anatomy isn't applicable to everyone.

I found that info intriguing, so I called my girlfriend and asked her about her cervix. Her experience is the same as mine. I'm sure different women are different.

A tilted cervix has negligable effect on the length of the vagina as anyone with a smattering of knowledge will know that although we call it pounding our cervix it is actually our anterior fornix, which stays in the same place regardless of where your cervix is.
There are guys with 14 inch dicks (snigger) if a guy comes on here making unsubstantiated claims to being the possessor of one he's quite rightly treated as a liar, your equally claim deserves nothing better. Work it out for yourself, measure your body, estimate where your organs are and you'll quickly realise how silly your claim is.
Being a woman doesn't make you immune from being questioned when you talk crap.
And if you call a desire not to listen to bullshit on the net anymore than i desire to listen to it in real life trolling, then yes I'm a troll and proud to be one.

One thing I learned from LPSG, is that if you are not honest, or try to make stories up, the members on here can smell a fake a mile away. Given that I value most women's opinion on here...bare in mind I said most. I have to agree with SP on this one, sounds like a crock of shit what you just spewed.

It is hard enough to be a woman on this site, credibility is earned, this is what i learned the hard way. Everyone is welcome on this site, to share and discuss opinions even different view points, but to make shit up, is called Trolling, and I can assure you that our members will not tolerate it, as you are begining to notice.

For your reading - the cervix is actually bipassed during sex with a long penis. The vaginal cavity enlongates and will stretch upward into the body cavity to accomodate.

How deep is the average vagina, and does it elongate when something's in it?

Dear Alice,
I was wondering about the depth of the vagina. I've read statistics that say that the average vagina is only 3 to 4 inches deep. This seems way too small to me, since the average penis is considerably longer than that. Wouldn't that mean that most penises would crash into the cervix repeatedly during intercourse? Since this obviously doesn't happen, my question is this: does the vagina actually elongate during intercourse to accommodate the entire length of the average penis?
Dear Reader,
Yes, just as the vagina has the capacity to expand, allowing for the passage of a baby during childbirth, the vagina also has the ability to elongate during intercourse to accommodate a penis. As you mentioned, for some women, the depth from the vaginal opening to the tip of the cervix is 3 to 4 inches when they are not sexually aroused. Other women may have a vaginal depth of five to seven inches. Regardless, during arousal, blood flows to the genital area, and sexual excitement causes the upper two-thirds of the vagina to lengthen by forcing the cervix and uterus to ascend. The vagina also lubricates to help ease penetration.
Some people think that the vaginal canal is a continuously open space. However, this is a misperception. Think of the vaginal canal as if it were a balloon that is not filled with any air. The walls, which have the potential to expand and elongate, gently touch one another. When something is placed inside, they mold around the width and accommodate the length of a penis, tampon, finger(s), or sex toy.

Sometimes during penetration, a penis or other object inserted in a vagina does hit the cervix. This may be an indication that the woman is not physiologically aroused enough; when she is more aroused, her vagina will elongate and her cervix, the neck of the uterus, will lift up and move out of the way.

A good example of this in action is found here **warning it is graphic*

That said, I am 5'10 and have only ever taken 12 inches inside me ..I am not sure I want to push it beyond that but it was fun ;-)

I love having my cervix pounded, I can't take all of a long cock but I don't mind trying :) It's just down to individual taste, we all like different things sexually and there's no particular reason why one person likes it one way and another likes it another way, that's just the way it is.

A dominatrix I went to see was very matter of fact: "I can't cum if my cervix isn't being hit hard. I can cum only with big cock."

Of course I wasn't there to fuck her. She sucked, figuratively, as a domina.

Banging the cervix shouldn't occur unless she hasn't had time to completely expand and her cervix tilt out of the way. It may still get rubbed on or bumped, but not collided with. It's the collision that many women find too painful. However, there are some women whose cervix are set at an improper angle and even when tilted their cervix can be hit, especially in some positions.

The anterior fornix was mentioned. It's closer to the opening than the cervix and doen't even require a long penis to reach and rub in the vast majority of women. It's quite possible the g spot and anterior fornix are getting mixed up when women and guys talk about the g spot. Some sex experts claim there is no such area as the g spot. Perhaps it's sensation from rubbing near or on the anterior fornix. This remains unclear.

The posterior fornix is deeper than the cervix. It's very close to the bottom wall. The deep area sensation that some women mention may be the posterior fornix being rubbed on.

The cul de sac, medically known as The Pouch of Douglas, is located between the bottom vaginal wall and anus. Therefore it is the deepest area to reach, and requires her to be elasticated and for him to have a penis long enough to push her bottom vaginal wall well into it. The deep area sensation that some women mention may be the cul de sac being contacted. Some believe that the cul de sac creates the most powerful sensation of all areas.

Many women require about 20 minutes of arousal before they become fully elasticated, fully expanded, and their cervix fully tilted. Articles saying that size doesn't matter tend to state that the disadvantage of a long penis is that it is prone to hit the cervix. Not so, as even an average penis can reach the cervix in most women if they are not fully expanded and tilted. And if they are fully expanded and tilted then a long penis will slide by it (unless she has a cervix that isn't set correctly, which a small percentage of women have). So long penises are getting a bad rap in 'feel good about your average size' articles. The main disadvantage to a long penis is if she isn't well elasticated then he can hit her bottom wall with too much impact if he forces it. Also, in cases in which he happens to be very long it is possible to push an elasticated bottom wall backward to it's ultimate limit and that can create too much pain in most women with an average depth vagina.

3664 I cast doubt upon your femininity. And 14" penises aren't very common as it is. I refuse to believe any woman can take 14" to the hilt.

Back on topic: Does anyone feel like in reverse cowgirl it goes really deep? When I wasn't on the path to enlightenment and I was engaging in sex, my girl loved it and honestly it felt like it was up in her stomach :biggrin1:

I just want to say how awesome that position is. But I get the feeling doggy does actually go deeper as opposed to just feeling like it does. Since I've had problems in that position.

I'm not in the medical field but have had discussions with a few that are. I've also done a lot of research on my own and have had discussions with guys and women concerning this. I think most women don't well know their own specific structure inside their vagina. They can say 'deep area' but don't appear to know enough to be more specific than that.

Heh.

Btw, would you ladies please vote in my poll in the Women's Issue's forum? It concerns penis size vs vocals. I know there is a correlation, that I have no doubt, but I'm trying to determine how strong or weak the correlation is. I'm not saying each and every woman is affected by penis size vocally, but that in an overview some or more women are bound to be and that I don't know how much. Some claim I'm completely mistaken, and state that there is none whatsoever. Well, this poll can help shed light on this.

Porn stars are often porn stars because of their unusual capacity or size and I watched a vid of The Amazing Ty (who is famous for her ability to take large and long objects) sticking a sprite bottle in her snatch, the size sprite bottle she was using is 13 inches long, she wasn't able to take all of it so I'd find it astounding, so astounding that it's out of the realms of possibility that anyone can take 14 inches.

I love reverse cowgirl where my legs are under his legs, it seems to be a really long slide down onto his cock.

Yeah :biggrin1:

So I take it this was a three litre bottle of sprite? Those things are thick as well as long...I hope she enjoyed it lol.

So...does doggy style give deeper penetration than reverse cowgirl? Cos I've never done doggy, but I love reverse cowgirl

According to this web site Sex Positions Guide they rate positions for penetration depth, and they referred to reverse cowgirl as "rodeo" position. It got 4 stars for penetration depth. Doggy style got 4.5 stars for penetration depth. This is a really good web site for looking at many different positions, and they are all rated on penetration depth, difficulty for giver/receiver, and several other factors.

And I'm the opposite. I haven't tried reverse cowgirl. Doggy style is one of my two favorites that I've tried so far.

Very simple tests. Take a red wine bottle (standard size, not a magnum), the tall ones of these are 13". Add a bit on top of that.

I'm 5'11" and while standing if I put the base of that bottle vertically level with my body where a vagina starts, it's at my sternum. As a 5'1" female, there is a fair chance that your torso is a not as long as mine.

Seriously, if you actually take 14" inside of you, I'd recommend going to see a doctor rather soon as in all likelyhood you've just damaged rather important parts of yourself that don't even feel pain.

Thanks for the site whatireallywant

Now all I need is someone to have sex with

I just found out I kind of adapted the Rode/Reverse Cowgirl position. I arched my back underneath her and lifted her up by the power of my cock (lol) and played with her clit while thrusting my cock in and out. That was some hot stuff

Four times I've had my partner have to get medical attention for bladder infections. Apparently when the tip of the penis pounds against the far wall of the vagina, it can wear away a protective membrane, and bacteria get where they shouldn't be and an infection starts. Anybody else have this problem? What did you do to prevent it?

It more like the penis presses against the bladder itself but I might be wrong. Anyway, that has happened to me a couple of times but I soon learned to make sure my bladder is completely empty before having sex.
