Fuck you. If you know anything about English, you would know that there is [sic] frequently multiple options with all being correct alternatives to arrive at the proper end. Sometimes the lesser used is the more proper. I felt that can not more properly conveyed my feelings.

Takes a real special piece of work to try to correct someone while being simultaneously wrong.
You seem very angry at just an FYI, indicated by the bolded above. I was trying to be helpful (while "can not" may be acceptable, "cannot" is generally preferred particularly in academia).
But I get a "fuck you" instead of a rational, reasonable response. Nice one!
