That is a very interesting list indeed. Some of those items made the news here, mainly on the national and special broadcasters, especially on Lateline, Foreign Correspondent, The Cutting Edge and Four Corners (local shows, some that use international syndicated reports). They also appeared in some of the broadsheets.

But some of those stories should've made the news anywhere.

I heard the vast majority of those stories-- though not as much as I did about Anna Nicole.

And it's the middle of 2007, isn't this list a tad premature?

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Would you care to elaborate?

I've seen your style of posting before. If you don't CARE about the issues that are NOT being addressed then kindly back off the thread.

I posted the list because there were quite a few things that I wasn't aware of and I thought that I was reasonably informed. I don't want to be thought of as ignorant and arrogant ;).

Interesting, but sadly unsurprising. I suppose there's no room for coverage of such inconsequential topics amidst the endless hours spent overanalyzing every detail of Paris' probation violation or Dannielynn's paternity tests. We can't have all the little sheep headed toward the ballot box armed with a real sense of public consciousness.

Not to slight the OP, but I'd be much more impressed with this compilation if instead of just being a bunch of headlines, each one of those list items were a link to someplace where some information could be found on the respective subject matter.

Sorry dirtyde. I didn't mean to insult you. To me the meaning of my post was clear as a bell - that the Sonoma State U's agenda is obviously way left of center. Then again, I love left of center people. Their idealism is beautiful. Sadly, I've grown out of it.

Other's have criticized my posts for not elaborating. Here are a couple of explanations:

    a) for me keying alone is labor

    b) I like nudging people to think rather than telling them what to think

    c) often less is more

What Shelby is trying to say is that he can not think of any reason on God's green Earth why these stories were not covered, and rather than address the issue that such neglect on the part of the media completely disproves any allegations of a so-called "liberal" bias in the media, will attempt to distract from the obvious fact that the so-called "liberal" media would rather keep the public dumb and uninformed rather than to present actual facts for your evaluation.

You should definitely write The Man and ask him to stop censoring these stories.
