I was born in the 50s. I remember Ozzie and Harriet. Don't remember too much of the 1950s, I was too busy trying not to get into trouble, I was like Dennis the Menace except my name was Graeme. I do remember Buddy Holly, and the Big Bopper, the Frankie Valenz fellow not some much. All that Peggy Sue stuff and Hello baby, it's the big Bopper. I remember Patsy Cline, an unattractive woman, but she could sing. My family had what was called a Wireless, a radio with all those valves humming away inside, no transistors or diodes then, just these big clunky very hot valves. Cars had carburetors and chassis, and three gears. I used to steal car keys and drive around when I was a kid, people didn't lock their car doors then or even their house doors. Those were the days.
