I suppose this could be a theme song for the renewable energy buffs...............................
Once upon a time humans nearly became extinct because of the last Glacial Period. We only survived, just, by 3,000 or so... because we learned about fire to keep us warm.....................The carbon left on, in the Earth has helped us survive and thrive.
Yes, we have staved off the next Glacial....by burning what lay in the ground from animals who became extinct from previous Glacial periods...................Think about it...why is it there, what caused their extinction...too much water? No....Ice. There is a happy medium, but like everything, humans go from one extreme to the other, as usual. It's like a never ending wheel, never finding the medium.
