Word up. This Palin frenzy really is just about what's on her surface - the feistiness and looks. If we use our brains instead of our dicks for a second, we realize she thinks women who get pregnant from rape should be forced to have the baby, we should ban books that conflict with religious doctrine, porn should be outlawed (arguably LPSG too), and kids should be taught nothing about sex but not to do it. In short, she's a radical extreme hyper-religious fundamentalist who thinks we should all have to live by her personal moral beliefs even if we don't share them. It's crazy that so many people make their voting decisions on abortion - whether you're pro-choice or pro-life. The courts have legalized abortion and it's not going to change... but I think the tension back-and-forth is good. After all, once one is pregnant there is the beginnings of a living object that is in the process of being created. The debate among politicians and all Americans is good, and we've got quit hating each other and make an effort to understand each other. Certainly we must consider and understand the judgment of a woman who is carrying a baby. Yet, certainly there remains compassion for the baby that is inside the woman's body. Abortion is a tough issue. We need to stop hating each other because we disagree.

Remember Republicans ridiculing John Kerry last election for his marriage to Theresa Heinz? They even went so far as to call him "John Heinz" as a joke. But, of course, now that it's a Republican in similar circumstances they keep their mouths shut and even applaud it as a "success story". Actually, Jack and John, as well as Megan, are his children by Cindy. He had other children by his first wife. You cannot look at the older one and tell me he doesn't look like his father, and the younger doesn't look like Cindy. But you're right, dumping your wife for a trophy wife isn't exactly "family values". I love how the Reagans shunned him for that when, oh yeah, Ronnie did the exact same thing - he dumped Jane Wyman for Nancy. Hypocritical morons.

I don't base my vote on any ONE issue. However, I certainly take them all into account and whether I agree or disagree with the candidate on said issues. I am not an avid proponent of abortion, although I am pro-choice. I am also not one of those assholes who lay down in the driveways of abortion clinics or who kills doctors with bombs. And you know, quite frankly, I really don't deserve to have an opinion. When was the last time I was pregnant?

I totally believe in LESS GOVERNMENT. So what a woman does should be her choice not the governments. I also believe the government has not right to decide whether gays should be able to marry. So can some Republican explain to me how this myth that Republicans want less government ever got started? And while you are at it, can you explain how this myth started that Republicans are fiscal responsible?
