I would agree with the lot of you and say... No, they should not compete against Biological Females as it stands right now...
There are "ways" i could find it acceptable... after much scientific and trial and error examination to find the "best way"....
For instance some movements have started where testosterone levels are being checked in trans athletes. With the argument that if their T-Levels reach that of an average biological female athlete of their age group, that it then can possibly be deemed "fair" if they are taking the prescribed hormone blockers while on their path to their ultimate surgical transition. Thoughts on this method???
Another way, is that they could only be accepted to compete against from birth biological females once they have become "anatomically female" post surgery, along with checked T-Levels... i could see this as being a possible second way I might be able to stand up and call it "fair"
Do you guys think either of those two "ways" could be methods for allowing trans female athletes to compete against biological from birth female athletes... or is it still just a TOTAL outright "No... Make them compete in their own new "Trans Athlete" branch as a 3rd category for sports vs the Male and Female branches..."
Thoughts??
