I believe they should not be allowed to. There is something about this in the news on the east coast about how two mediocre to below avg male track and field athletes when competing as males with males, then next season they suddenly decide to identify as women now and because of the state laws are competing on the girls high schools teams and crushing the records and taking away scholarships. It’s wrong especially in high school. Now college is different and I have no idea how to sort that shit show, but in high school it shouldn’t be happening, because people work hard for scholarships to get to college.

its a difficult subject to talk about for some people, I would think that hard working female athletes are going to eventually get pissed about it.

They already are.

To answer the question: No.
Transgender people need to have their own categories.

No they shouldn’t.
They benefit from years of having testosterone in their body before transitioning.

This.

The moment you open the door for trans-athletes to do this, you open the door to allow doping in sports.

Theres literally threads on the front page titled:

"Why the republican party doesnt appeal to people."

"The rights assault on people of color."

"The republican attack on the right to vote."

"Donald Trumps assault on civil rights"

"Republicans pooh-pooh higher education"

But of course you wouldnt mention this in THOSE threads, since they agree with your toxic, far-leftist agenda. Nice hypocrisy there.

A bunch of men giving their opinions on how women should act.........Where have I seen this before?

Not exactly. Looks to me like it is a bunch of men discussing unfair advantage in sports and athletics, which is fair game. Women can comment on the baseball cheating scandal even though they don’t play Major League Baseball and no one gets upset, do they?

You love your identity politics, don’t you Dust?

I would agree with the lot of you and say... No, they should not compete against Biological Females as it stands right now...

There are "ways" i could find it acceptable... after much scientific and trial and error examination to find the "best way"....

For instance some movements have started where testosterone levels are being checked in trans athletes. With the argument that if their T-Levels reach that of an average biological female athlete of their age group, that it then can possibly be deemed "fair" if they are taking the prescribed hormone blockers while on their path to their ultimate surgical transition. Thoughts on this method???

Another way, is that they could only be accepted to compete against from birth biological females once they have become "anatomically female" post surgery, along with checked T-Levels... i could see this as being a possible second way I might be able to stand up and call it "fair"

Do you guys think either of those two "ways" could be methods for allowing trans female athletes to compete against biological from birth female athletes... or is it still just a TOTAL outright "No... Make them compete in their own new "Trans Athlete" branch as a 3rd category for sports vs the Male and Female branches..."

Thoughts??

Exactly... this threads title is VERY clear... VERY non-bias and tells the viewer simply... "We are discussing the social issue of Trans Athletes.." plain and simple. This title is as tame and appropriate as it can get when starting a thread about such a hot button issue :)
