Trans Athletes

There are any number of questions worth discussing about transgender people and who we are as a society. You chose to raise a question about how they make things more problematic for the rest of us. Perhaps, in other posts, you've raised questions about the difficulties transgender people themselves face trying to find acceptance--but I haven't seen it.

You're free to focus on what you want, of course, just as I'm free to think there are more compassionate and worthwhile conversations to be had.

Nope I’m sure I quoted the right person. Don’t puss out luv

You are out of line here. There is no agenda here. This is a specific circumstance where transgendered people can be rightly seen as a “problem,” a problem for biologic women who cannot effectively compete against transgendered athletes. You utter lack of empathy for girls who have trained their entire lives only to be bested by TGed girls who have a clear genetic advantage is telling.

But again it is not surprising that in your mind the rights of one group of people should be sacrificed at the altar of Identity group politics.

You realize, of course, that you're just making shit up now. But that's an old habit of yours.

They are by their participation stealing something they don't deserve right now because they aren't even starting from the "starting point" of playing on equal footing with their counterparts in their anatomical makeup.

So to this extent, at least, we're in exact agreement: The topic affords an opportunity to see transgender people as stealing something from the rest of us. For those who choose to view it that way.

No one cares.

Which goes to the point of the thread raised earlier - not to discuss, inform or educate, merely to disrupt and demean transgender people.

Also there is a difference between 'affect', 'affected', 'effect', and 'effected.' Please look into that issue and see what you can do about it as regards poorly written posts.

Just curious

You and every single white cis male conservative poster because it is appears to be a right of passage for individuals who fit those characteristics to pretend the search function does not exist and instead start yet another new thread on this exact same topic at some point.

We get it. As someone who will never themself be participating in women's athletics, you are none the less deeply concerned about the fairness in the rules that govern women's athletics and want to make sure that every man who will never be personally impacted by such rules has opportunity to make their opinion known on behalf of women who are capable of speaking for themselves if they want to.

They DO make things more difficult for a subset of the “rest of us,” biologic girls competing in sports against them. They DO NOT get a pass so they can beat up athletically on biologic girls. If you want to discuss the problems TGs face outside of sports, feel free to start a thread. But don’t bring those topics to this topic as a way of engendering sympathy for them in this specific instance.

So women can’t comment on men’s sports now. Good to know.

1). As a general rule of thumb, necro-posting (posting on old, dead threads) is considered to be a bad thing on most forums. People would much rather start a fresh discussion on the same topics.

2). Invoking identity politics is an old, played out strategy. I don’t know what you’re trying to achieve by pointing out that someone is a white cis male. It screams of saying “white cis males’ opinions shouldn’t matter.”

3). As an ex-athlete myself, I’ve trained with, and beaten some of the top women in my sport. The physicality between a decent male player, and a world class female player are not even comparable. By your rules, I could just identify as a female, and I’d suddenly increase my yearly income by hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not millions. While simultaneously denying women of those titles/incomes.

I see very little danger of sympathy guiding this discussion.

There shouldn’t be any sympathy, unless for the biologic girls who train to win a contest but are defeated by genetics, only.

If you are concerned about discriminatory issues facing TGs, start that thread. I don’t see one started on the listing page by you, so you aren’t that concerned, are you?

Its a gathering of opinions on a subject... dodson even stated that was his "agenda"... whether you believe him or not doesn't give you any right to act this way... you are free to do what Kling is doing... his behavior is at least still acceptable and "engage'able"...

Leave your school teacher trolling at the door.. just like the post you quoted was for industrial to shut up with the petty subtle trolling... this is "yours"...

i had higher opinions of you back in the Shut Down thread... but now... you INSTANTLY fell back into acting like THIS.... you literally can't engage in a civil differing of opinions can you.... you and the "Regulars" methods very clearly are nothing more than....

"If they don't already agree with our views... we WILL 1st attempt to Dominate them with our views, if this fails we shall insult them, demean them, and accuse them of knowing nothing or of being sooooo far less intelligent than we are that their opinion matters nor in an attempt to discredit them and and when all else fails if they persist... we shall become the trolliest trolls in trollsville...".... everyone who was a part of the Shut Down thread, read it, or even knew about it should know better by now.... especially you.

Your behavior will receive no more further replies from me.... go play your "I smell nefarious intent game..." somewhere else...

Just because you don't want hall monitors... doesn't mean you don't need one....

Yes... which they are entitled to do. Just because they don't view this topic with the same EXACT viewpoint as yourself doesn't mean its ultimately detrimental to transgender society...

By resolving these issues... it's actually a furtherance of their society because once firm and fair rules are in place on how to handle these situations where one group is feeling slighted by another... they can get back to "Inclusion & Acceptance" rather than feeling cheated out of something they potentially DO deserve more than a genetically superior individual due to the "stage" their competing on entitling them to a fair shot which this hot topic denies them the fairness of....

With industrials rules list, I'm quite satisfied that college level athletics is being handled appropriately when addressing this issue...(As long as it is being properly enforced...)... but like in fireman's video on page 1 of this thread. Biological Females do view this in THAT light. And we are allowed to discuss it just as much as you "regulars" are allowed to discuss President Trump in WHATEVER light you wish... though I'm still waiting to see what these new stricter rules will be.... *Shrugs*

In my opinion industrial actually helped to further this conversation once he knocked off his bullshit and actually posted substantive material....Now we can move on to a 2nd issue... though your "group" wants to raise the fear that even discussing it is a rules violation of this website.

Which im still waiting for more input on if a mod wants to pipe up.... but like i said... we aren't discussing High School Athletes in a sexualized or pornographic manner...

We are about to end up discussing High School Athletics in regards to "Rules and Policies of how the High School Athletics Programs are addressing the introduction of Transgender Athletes to their sports team rosters, specifically MTF Transgenders and their participation on Female ONLY Teams..."

Which as I've stated... is not an attempt to sexualize juveniles you pedos you. Its a discussion of rules and policy. Just like in IRL Land its not being a pedo/hebo to discuss the fairness of one's daughter's sports team. Fathers do not suddenly become able to be blamed of sexualizing their children just because they're having a discussion on "fairness" of their daughter's sport or how they feel their daughter got cheated or their daughter came to them saying she felt cheated...

Not in way shape or form a sexualized talk... and therefore rules appropriate.

So... just like fireman's video depicted...

That girl has every right to feel cheated... and I'm still waiting to see if someone has info on how the situation is being handled...

My own brief research of "NFHS" had turned up nothing but furthering of this issue... i.e. .... the allowance of MTF Athletes on All Female teams with no mention of policy in regards to "fairness" other than quotes around and about the wording of...
"They're filing a lawsuit, so... we better just let them play.."

Again... with NO MENTION on how they are addressing the issues other than to just "cave" and deny any and all claims of Biological Females on this level of athletics that it is unfair. This can have major future consequences for female athletes ranging from say.... those who have hopes of gaining college sports scholarships for instance, all the way down to the "lesser" arguable impacts of simply to make them feel slighted enough as to simply quit since like in fireman's video...
"...we're fighting for 3rd place."

I'd love to see if anyone has found a school(s) or major high school level athletics association that is handling this issue in a way that is fair and inclusive for all parties and finding acceptance of those methods when they implement them when addressing this issue...

Yes... discussion of minors of a sexual nature whether stories about one's self or others.... not sports.

That rule is intended... and IN PRACTICE... on here to stop people from telling stories about their dicks when they were underage on here or taboo underage sex stories / discussions... not to stop them from talking about Sports.

An active mod can say something if they wish like ive been saying... its "Sports Rules and Policies".... I'm not talking about anything sexual.

And unlike most of you "self admittedly from your own mouths" i might add in the past.... i DO still roam the sexual frontier on here... ive seen that rule enacted.... THIS is not a circumstance i have EVER witnessed a mod do more than say.... "Just be careful..."

This is not a rules violation to discuss "High School Athletics Rules & Policy" in a non-sexual manor what so ever...

The part where even in practice it means... "Even innocently sexual natured conversations".....

This topic has NOTHING to do with sexual natured anything.

Regardless of your belief that you are somehow endowed with a controlling interest in who may comment and how, I will comment as I please. If you choose to reply, done it. If you choose to pretend you did not see it or decline to comment on it, that works. Nothing in my reply was out of line, a violation of TOS, or even a breech of manners. Dodson's history tells me his intentions, as does yours.

You're not a moderator or an owner of the site. Your efforts to.establish how you expect people to respond and follow your dubious rules is amusing, but not really important in the grand scheme of things.

That said, carry on!
