Definition of SEX
"Big breast, small waist, big butt" are not reproductive organs nor are they exclusive to women. Men with small waists and big butts are quite appealing to many gay men actually. Man boobs either from being overly built, overweight or hormonal issues have their own fetish group among gay men as well. All gays aren't into the same type of guy.

Sexual orientation is not based exclusively on sex organs. In fact, you don't see people's genitals yet you still feel attracted to them.
That's because sexual orientation works based on both primary sex traits (genitals) and secondary sex traits (muscles, body hair, etc).
Secondary sex traits that tell men and women apart are sexual traits. They are sex.
That's also why bodybuilding which he practices is so sexually-charged.
He is attracted to image of a woman that transperson embodies. In fact, transwomen tend to exaggerate the traits of a woman's body. That's what turns him on, the enhanced secondary female sex traits.
If anything, he might be bisexual, but I highly doubt it.
