Time to change from a pouched thong to modified swim trunks.
Lower Salt River Tubing is about to get serious.

Usta use a net thong by "After Dark".
Was constructed with a pouch which could hold much more than
I've got, lengthwise. Kept everything more-or-less tight. If one
lengthened you simply bulged a little more and your head moved
downwards and around closer to your coccyx.
You could pre-load the netting - pull it upwards around your crank beforehand and it would stay, allowing you to remain restrained
as you shrank or lengthened.

Been using it for three years, repairing breaks but it finally
"weathered" out. Starting to disintegrate from the Arizona
environs.
Hafta buy XL swim trunks for the length - some of you probably
do the same.

The problem about lengthening which the After Dark pouch handled
is back. Out here, you shrink inna cold water, then go back to
normal in the sun. Everything is "Okay" unless you squat to help
others come ashore, or bend over to point out downriver features. Gathering the "personal" material area is mandatory, as the lowest point of the inner "screen" of bathing suits is of minimum width. Practice with needle and thread - Boy Scout stuff.

Good luck, test it wet and dry.
You may be surprised at how much is exposed when you drop down on your haunches.
Girlfriend behind you can help

Lived in the Phoenix area for 15 years and love tubing! Back in the '70s, we'd take off our shorts and tube naked. I usually go at least once every summer. I go with basketball shorts when I tube. The nylon material dries quickly.
