Hey guys,

Was hoping someone here could help me out. I'm traveling to San Francisco in a month, and looking for some fun ideas for things to do in the bay area. I'll have a car so I'm pretty flexible. Looking for some more nudist-themed things, if anyone knows of any? Preferably in the company of other men, gay or straight. Will be hitting the nude beaches there, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for fun things to do.

Look up Gay Males Nudists in San Francisco and Bayside Bare Boys in San Jose (Do you know the way to San Jose?) Sorry could not resist. Both have nude events regularly. Have fun.

I was there recently and stayed near the historic SF Armory (in the Mission.) Used as a national guard facility until 1976, the building is now owned and occupied by Kink.com! Tours of the building given on a daily basis and include the film sets. Be sure to hit up the Armory Club bar across the street, you will likely spot a porn star or two ;)

Well there is always Baker Beach in the Presidio, which is one of the most famous nude beaches in the world. Just remember the the far northern part of the beach is the nude part.

There is also Red Rock Beach, in Marin which is one of the more popular (and crowded) "nude" beaches. I think the weekend is the best times to go if you're looking for a crowd.

I would also recommend Bass Lake near Bolinas in Marin, its not technically a nudist area, but it is largely tolerated and is a nice lake area as opposed to the ocean.

Just remember when going to any of these places to always try to check the weather where you will be going first. Even if its sunny and warm in the City, it can be cold and foggy along the beaches. January should offer up some nice sunny days but always expect that the clouds and cool air can role in and dampen (and chill) a nice trip to the beach or into the Marin headlands anytime.

I don't if you're into bathhouses or not, but there is Steamworks in Berkeley which probably has a lot of naked fun going on (although I've never been)

These are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure there is a lot more places to explore. Its too bad SF has now made it illegal to be nude in public...

I have been to Kabuki Springs, 3 days a week men Monday Thursday Saturday, 3 women and coed Tuesday. Almost every one was naked, I only saw one guy in swimwear and didn't see him for long, I don't know whether he wasn't comfortable with all the naked men and left or realised that he was drawing attention to himself by being clothed in a naked setting so just stripped. I got the impression that not everyone was used to relaxing naked but at least were giving it a go. There is a limit on numbers, when I arrived I had to wait a bit until some guys left so it may be worth booking in advance - definitely worth going though.

A nice place to chill out naked for a couple of hours (separate areas for male and female, so naked anytime OK):

IMPERIAL DAY SPA

Others also recommend this - I think there are separate times for naked male and female, otherwise bathers required:

Kabuki Springs & Spa | Serenity, Harmony, Relaxation

For a different kind of naked relaxation, you should also try:
