Hey, everyone! This is especially aimed at anyone who lives in NZ. I'll be coming through Queenstown, Franz Josef, Nelson, Wellington, Rotorua, Waitomo and Auckland.

    -How gay-friendly are these cities?
    -Suggestions for things to do?

A lot of the time is pre-planned by the travel group that I'm coming with, but I will have a bit of free time as well, and I'd like to know what the locals and people who've been suggest :D

    Thanks!

I've been to NZ many times and I can honestly say I have never had a negative experience ever. New Zealanders are the friendliest people on the planet. I'm assuming you are traveling during the North American summer which is winter time in New Zealand.
If you are winter sports enthusiast the skiing is fantastic...
Ski New Zealand's largest skiing area - Mt Ruapehu.
