very jonathan bennett, who was getting small gigs here and there but the only thing people knew him from was mean girls, which he monetized to the max, despite just being the love interest in it. and also happens to be in hallmark movies, and lived in the closet for many years until finally coming out when revealing his boyfriend.

Housing is incredibly expensive in LA so roommates are not that uncommon. Especially among actors/artists who do not have regular gigs throughout the year.

Additionally, due to the expense, it is not uncommon for people to pool resources and buy a house together regardless of relationship status. The mortgage is often times lower than market rent and it is a good investment.

I'm not disagreeing with anything you've said. The area that their home is in isn't nearly as expensive as Metro LA. Their house is a 1700 ft 3 bed/2 bath (property tax valued around 400K) and most comparable rentals in the area are between $1700 and $2400 a month but it makes much more sense to own the property than waste the money on a rental. Michael was the personal assistant to Val Kilmer, Paula Abdul, and Benny Medina before becoming a talent manager so I do think it was likely an equal financial venture. They have had "roommates" that were Michael's clients like Glen McCuen in the past.

I'm not assuming anything about their relationship beyond the fact that it is deeper than client and manager. I'm also not assuming Trevor's sexuality. Michael has openly stated that he is gay. However, it's not like they are young and struggling. Trevor is in his mid-forties and Michael is well into his fifties and they appear quite happy with what they have together.
