my thing is you can only really devote your energy to one thing at a time and how does one have time to run a brand and be a singer and make an album etc

also none of these celebs have any talent in making perfumes... ppl go to school for this, what they do is pick scents others made and put their name on it

The music industry has been deteriorating at a rapid speed ever since the streaming era began. Artists are making a lot less money compared to the days of physical sales. Keep in mind that sponsorships have existed in hollywood since the 1970s but now days with social media it is more apparent and excessive. It's a mess and it's why I understand why musicians have shifted into other business ventures. Lady Gaga shifted into acting and Rihanna has become a billionaire running a successful empire. Rihanna hasn't released new music because even though she knows her music will become hits, it wont make as much money as her makeup products and other lines she has launched.

Sorry for the lengthy post but just wanted to give a simple explanation as to why Troye's tiktok and socials have become advertisements. His advertisements are bringing in more cash than his music and they are also funding his music videos. The end goal is have semi-hit singles from his new album and making more money from his new line just to rake in enough coins for a world tour. The world tour will bring in the most coins no doubt.
