Dunno who needs to hear this, but not every outfit a celeb wears in a photo editorial needs to cater to your specific tastes or fetishes. Most of them are just trying to be visually striking and/or sexy. Sometimes they succeed, other times they don't. Sometimes it's just not your bag, and that's ok.

I agree, though I do think that more often than not as of late the clothes are wearing Troye and not the other way around. All a matter of taste, though, I guess.
