ANYONE who has paid ANY kind of attention to this over the past number of years knows that for what ever reason the number of people coming from the three countries involved always spikes, if it spikes in the late spring to early summer months seeing a peak in about May and then bottoms out about this time of year

It cost what it cost. And the benefit to the US of having control at our border is having our border under control.
Borders should be under control, for any country, that is why they are “ Borders.” Now if you judge that borders are fluid, and then lock your car or lock your front door, then you are quite the hypocrite.

And that hasn't a fucking thing to do with "border control" ... EVERYTHING to do with culling the electorate of black and brown people via various schemes of oppression, exclusion, and disempowerment.

The more "secure" that border is considered to be, the more people will slip through it undetected.
It reminds me of the Museum Berliner Mauer in Berlin, Germany. Despite the fact that there was an "impenetrable" wall around West Berlin, there were still dozens of secret tunnels under it, used by various governments.
